Sharing video footage from audio/video recording and communication devices for parcel theft deterrence

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause a system to perform operations comprising:

• receiving image data generated by a camera of a first audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device (A/V device), wherein the first A/V device is associated with a first location;
• generating a parcel theft alert comprising the image data generated by the camera of the first A/V device;
• determining at least a client device, associated with a second A/V device, to receive the parcel theft alert, wherein the second A/V device is associated with a second location;
• and
• transmitting the parcel theft alert to the client device.

A method comprising:

• receiving image data generated by a camera of a first audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device (A/V device), the image data representing one or more images of a parcel theft, wherein the first A/V device is associated with a first location;
• generating a parcel theft alert comprising the image data generated by the camera of the first A/V device;
• determining that a second client device is associated with a second location;
• and
• after determining that the second client device is associated with the second location, transmitting the parcel theft alert to the second client device.
