Cash management system, cashier device, and cash management method

A cashier device of a cash management system,

• the cash management system including
• a plurality of cash settlement devices dispensing cash stored in a storage unit through an outlet as change funds, and
• a cashier device connected to the plurality of cash settlement devices via a communication line to exchange a signal, storing, in a storage unit, sales proceeds collected from the plurality of cash settlement devices, and dispensing through the outlet, the cash stored in the storage unit when the plurality of cash settlement devices are replenished with the change funds,
• wherein the cashier device includes an arithmetic processing unit executing processing based on information acquired through the communication line, compares the amount of the change funds that the plurality of cash settlement devices needs to be replenished with an inventory number in the cashier device, and limits the amount of the change funds when the amount of the change funds that the plurality of cash settlement devices needs to be replenished with exceeds the inventory number in the cashier device.

A cash management method for a cash management system, the cash management system comprising:

• a plurality of cash settlement devices dispensing cash stored in a storage unit through an outlet as change funds;
• a cashier device storing, in a storage unit, sales proceeds collected from the plurality of cash settlement devices, and when the plurality of cash settlement devices are replenished with the change funds, dispensing, through the outlet, the cash stored in the storage unit;
• and
• a cash management device connected to the plurality of cash settlement devices and the cashier device though a communication line to exchange a signal with each of the plurality of cash settlement devices and the cashier device, and including an arithmetic processing unit executing processing based on information acquired through the communication line,
• the method comprising:
• comparing the amount of the change funds that the plurality of cash settlement devices needs to be replenished with an inventory number in the cashier device, and
• limiting the amount of the change funds when the amount of the change funds that the plurality of cash settlement devices needs to be replenished with exceeds the inventory number in the cashier device.
