Abstract
A system and method are disclosed for secure storage of customer's public and private data in a personal data store. Companies communicate with a secure data storage server using a public encryption key linked to a registered IP Address, customers communicate with a private encryption key, and encrypted data can be stored using a variety of encryption keys. The personal data store can be used for preparing customer product views, linking personal data to avoid repeated customer data entries, customer identification and loyalty card linking. Encrypted stored data ensures no other person can read it.
Claims26
A system for controlling bidirectional communication between computing devices connected to a network, the computing devices including one or more client devices controlled by at least one client and one or more service provider devices controlled by at least one service provider, the system comprising:
- at least one server communicatively connected to at least one data store comprising client data having public data and private data relating to each of the at least one client, wherein the server is bi-directionally communicating with at least one client device and at least one service provider device;
- wherein the server is configured to
- store and retrieve
- the client data from the at least one client, wherein the client data is encrypted and stored using a respective client device's private key encryption, and
- service provider data from the at least one service provider, wherein the service provider data is encrypted and stored using a respective service provider device's private key encryption;
- select the at least one client and at least one service provider;
- and
- send and receive, upon consent from the selected client,
- the client device's public key to the selected service provider using a first encrypted communication, and
- service provider device's public key to the selected client using a second encrypted communication.
A method for controlling bidirectional communication between computing devices connected to a network, the computing devices including one or more client devices controlled by at least one client and one or more service provider devices controlled by at least one service provider, the method comprising the steps of:
- providing at least one server communicatively connected to at least one data store comprising client data having public data and private data relating to each of the at least one client, wherein the server is bidirectionally communicating with at least one client device and at least one service provider device;
- on the server:
- storing and retrieving
- the client data from the at least one client, wherein the client data is encrypted and stored using a respective client device's private key encryption, and
- service provider data from the at least one service provider, wherein the service provider data is encrypted and stored using a respective service provider device's private key encryption;
- selecting the at least one client and at least one service provider;
- and
- sending and receiving, upon consent from the selected client,
- the client device's public key to the selected service provider, using a first encrypted communication, and
- service provider device's public key to the selected client, using a second encrypted communication.
The method according to claim, 22 wherein the server is operable to compare the public data with the private data to assemble a single view for each of the at least one clients, wherein all the private data relating to each client is assembled and displayed.
