Abstract
The invention generally relates to a sample dispenser including an internal standard and methods of use thereof.
Claims6
A system for analyzing a sample comprising:
- a probe comprising at least one porous substrate connected to a high voltage source such that an electric field is generated at a tip of the at least one porous substrate, wherein the at least one porous substrate is discrete from a flow of solvent and at least a portion of the at least one porous substrate comprises an internal standard;
- and
- a mass spectrometer, wherein the system is configured such that ions generated by the probe are transferred to an inlet of the mass spectrometer without pneumatic assistance.
