Method for reselecting random access resource for beam failure recovery on scell in wireless communication system and apparatus therefor

A method for transmitting signals by a medium access control (MAC) entity of a transmission end in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

• initializing a random access procedure on a secondary cell for beam failure recovery (BFR);
• transmitting an indication for requesting at least one suitable beam to a lower layer;
• based on information about the at least one suitable beam being received from the lower layer, transmitting a random access preamble using the at least one suitable beam to a network, with incrementing a random access preamble transmission counter;
• based on the information about the at least one suitable beam not being received from the lower layer, incrementing the random access preamble transmission counter;
• and
• based on the random access preamble transmission counter being less than a maximum value, retransmitting the indication for requesting the at least one suitable beam to the lower layer.
