Abstract
The present invention is directed to a combination comprising a glucocorticoid and a compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof: to a pharmaceutical composition and to a kit both comprising said combination, to the combination, composition or kit for use in the treatment of cancer, and to a method of treatment of cancer in a patient in need thereof comprising administering to said patient an effective amount of said combination, composition or kit.
Claims11
A combination comprising dexamethasone and a compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein the combination does not comprise a proteasome inhibitor;
- and
- wherein the dexamethasone and the compound of formula I or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof forms a synergistic combination, wherein the synergistic combination has a combination index (CI) of less than 1, wherein the combination index is calculated by the Chou Talalay method.
