Claims20
A fluid dispenser comprising:
- a housing,
- a fluid containing bottle,
- a piston pump mechanism,
- an upper pump holding member,
- the piston pump mechanism having a piston-chamber forming body and a piston-forming element,
- the piston-forming element coaxially slidable along an axis relative the piston-chamber forming body to draw fluid from the bottle and discharge fluid from a discharge outlet,
- the piston-chamber forming body carrying a support plate extending radially relative the axis outwardly from the piston-chamber forming body,
- the housing having a horizontal support flange with an upwardly directed support surface,
- a slot in the support flange extending from a slot opening in a front edge of the support flange to a blind rear end,
- the upper pump holding member carried on the housing above the support flange to present a downwardly directed holding surface of the upper pump holding member in opposition to the upwardly directed support surface of the support flange,
- the piston pump mechanism removably coupled to the housing,
- when the piston pump mechanism is coupled to the housing the piston-chamber forming body extends through the slot of the support flange with the support plate located in between the upwardly directed support surface of the support flange and the downwardly directed holding surface of the upper pump holding member,
- the upper pump holding member mounted to the housing for movement between a lower position and an upper position relative the support flange,
- wherein when the piston pump mechanism is coupled to the housing with the upper pump holding member in the lower position, the support plate is captured between the upper pump holding member and the support flange.
