Abstract
A novel maize variety designated PH47H6 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant comprise crossing maize variety PH47H6 with another maize plant are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into PH47H6 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are provided. Hybrid maize seed, plants or plant parts are produced by crossing the variety PH47H6 or a locus conversion of PH47H6 with another maize variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of inbred maize variety PH47H6, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202004004.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of inbred maize variety PH47H6, representative seed of the maize variety PH47H6 having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202004004, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises a locus conversion, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the locus conversion and otherwise comprises all the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety PH47H6 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
An F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a plant or plant part of inbred maize variety PH47H6, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202004004 with a different maize plant, wherein inbred maize variety PH47H6 further comprises a transgene that is inherited by the seed, wherein the transgene was introduced into inbred maize variety PH47H6 by backcrossing or genetic transformation.
