Abstract
Provided herein are Purine Compounds of Formula (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, tautomers, isotopologues, or stereoisomers thereof, wherein R1, R2, and R3 are as defined herein, compositions comprising an effective amount of a Purine Compound, and methods for treating or preventing malaria comprising the administration of an effective amount of a Purine Compound.

A compound, wherein the compound is (R)-N8-(3-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N2-cyclobutyl-9-(pyrrolidin-3-yl)-9H-purine-2,8-diamine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, tautomer, isotopologue, or stereoisomer thereof.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of (R)-N8-(3-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-N2-cyclobutyl-9-(pyrrolidin-3-yl)-9H-purine-2,8-diamine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, tautomer, isotopologue, or stereoisomer thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, excipient or vehicle.
