Abstract
Embodiments for implementing a fault tolerant color palette in a device having potential hardware faults by a processor. A fault tolerant color palette, assistive of user color interpretation for a display, may be generated according to a set of colors in a predetermined color palette and one or more user preferences.
Claims17
A method, by one or more processors, for implementing a fault tolerant color palette in a device having potential hardware faults, comprising:
- generating a fault tolerant color palette, assistive of user color interpretation for a display, according to a set of colors in a predetermined color palette and one or more user preferences;
- and
- selecting a set of K colors that maximizes a hue, chroma, and a selected lightness, wherein K is a positive integer.
A system for implementing a fault tolerant color palette in a device having potential hardware faults, comprising:
- one or more computers with executable instructions that when executed cause the system to:
- generate a fault tolerant color palette, assistive of user color interpretation for a display, according to a set of colors in a predetermined color palette and one or more user preferences;
- and
- select a set of K colors that maximizes a hue, chroma, and a selected lightness, wherein K is a positive integer.
A computer program product for implementing a fault tolerant color palette in a device having potential hardware faults by a processor, the computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-readable program code portions stored therein, the computer-readable program code portions comprising:
- an executable portion that generates a fault tolerant color palette, assistive of user color interpretation for a display, according to a set of colors in a predetermined color palette and one or more user preferences;
- and
- an executable portion that selects a set of K colors that maximizes a hue, chroma, and a selected lightness, wherein K is a positive integer.
