Abstract
Exemplary systems and methods relating to washboxes are described.
Claims12
A washbox, comprising:
- inner and outer portions defining a tortuous media pathway therebetween;
- and,
- a mechanism configured to automatically move the inner portion and/or the outer portion relative to the other of the inner portion and the outer portion to redefine the tortuous media pathway.
A washbox, comprising:
- inner and outer portions defining a tortuous media pathway therebetween;
- and,
- a mechanism for moving the inner portion and/or the outer portion relative to the other of the inner portion and the outer portion to redefine the tortuous media pathway,
- wherein the inner portion comprises a first surface that generally extends along a first axis and that includes multiple protuberances and wherein the outer portion comprises a second surface that generally extends along a second axis and that includes multiple protuberances that face the first surface, and
- wherein the mechanism for moving is operable to move the inner and outer portions relative to one another from a first configuration where the protuberances of the first surface are generally opposed to the protuberances of the second surface into a second configuration where the protuberances of the first surface are generally offset relative to the protuberances of the second surface.

- and,
- a mechanism for moving the inner portion and/or the outer portion relative to the other of the inner portion and the outer portion to redefine the tortuous media pathway,
- wherein the mechanism for moving is operable to move the entirety of the inner portion and/or the entirety of the outer portion to redefine the tortuous media pathway.
