Abstract
A novel maize variety designated PH483D and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant comprise crossing maize variety PH483D with another maize plant are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into PH483D through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are provided. Hybrid maize seed, plants or plant parts are produced by crossing the variety PH483D or a locus conversion of PH483D with another maize variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of inbred maize variety PH483D, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202004005.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of inbred maize variety PH483D, representative seed of the maize variety PH483D having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202004005, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises a locus conversion, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the locus conversion and otherwise comprises the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety PH483D when grown under the same environmental conditions.
An F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a plant or plant part of inbred maize variety PH483D, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202004005 with a different maize plant, wherein inbred maize variety PH483D further comprises a transgene that is inherited by the seed, wherein the transgene was introduced into inbred maize variety PH483D by backcrossing or genetic transformation.
