Striking hand-held machine tool

A hand-held percussion power tool, comprising

• a tool holder for holding a percussion tool on a working axis;
• an electric motor;
• a percussion mechanism, comprising an exciter piston, a pneumatic chamber comprising a first channel opening, a percussion piston, an intermediate chamber comprising a second channel opening, and a rivet header sequentially arranged in a percussion direction;
• a closed channel, which connects the first channel opening in the pneumatic chamber and the second channel opening in the intermediate chamber;
• a check valve arranged in the closed channel, which blocks air flowing from the first channel opening to the second channel opening and opens to allow air to flow from the second channel opening to the first channel opening;
• and, a shut-off valve, which is arranged at the second channel opening and is forced into a position in which the shut-off valve seals the second channel opening when the rivet header is in a working position.
