Abstract
An end effector for harvesting fruit. The end effector has a housing and a plurality of tangs extending from an end of the housing. The end effector further has an oscillator device secured to the housing and the oscillator device in an oscillating relationship with the plurality of tangs.

An end effector for harvesting fruit, the end effector comprising:
- a housing;
- a plurality of tangs extending from an end of the housing;
- and
- an oscillator device secured to the housing and in an oscillating relationship with the plurality of tangs;
- wherein the plurality of the tangs comprises a first set of tangs laterally spaced in a first plane;
- a second set of tangs laterally spaced in a second plane different from the first plane;
- and
- wherein the first set of tangs each comprise a first diameter, and wherein the second set of tangs each comprise a second diameter different from the first diameter.

- a housing;
- a plurality of tangs extending from an end of the housing;
- and
- an oscillator device secured to the housing and in an oscillating relationship with the plurality of tangs;
- wherein the plurality of the tangs comprises a first set of tangs laterally spaced in a first plane;
- a second set of tangs laterally spaced in a second plane different from the first plane;
- and
- wherein the first set of tangs comprise a first spacing distance between respective tangs and wherein the second set of tangs comprise a second spacing distance between respective tangs, the first spacing distance different from the second spacing distance.
