Abstract
Gypsum board having a core, said core having at least one side covered with a non-woven fabric; characterized in that the inner side of the non-woven fabric, which is in contact with the core of the gypsum board, has a surface roughness Ra of from 25 to 60 micrometers, preferably from 25 to 50 micrometers, advantageously from 25 to 40 micrometers.
Claims24
Gypsum board comprising:
- a gypsum core, and
- a wet-laid nonwoven fabric covering at least one side of the gypsum core, wherein
- the nonwoven fabric has an inner side having a surface roughness Ra of from 25 to 60 micrometers which is in contact with the gypsum core, and wherein
- the nonwoven fabric has a double screen embossed pattern which includes the surface roughness on the inner side of the nonwoven fabric and fibers on a surface of the embossed pattern.
