Abstract
A vaccine composition including a plant virus particle linked to an HER2 antigen is described. The vaccine composition can be used for methods of treating or preventing an HER2-expressing cancer in a subject by administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of the vaccine composition.

A vaccine composition comprising a potato virus X particle linked to an HER2 antigen, wherein the HER2 antigen comprises a cysteine terminated P4 peptide with an intervening flexible linker.
A method of treating or decreasing the risk of developing an HER2-expressing cancer in a subject, by administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a vaccine composition comprising a potato virus X particle linked to an HER2 antigen, wherein the HER2 antigen comprises a cysteine terminated P4 peptide with an intervening flexible linker.
