Facilitating physical downlink shared channel resource element mapping indicator

A method, comprising:

• facilitating, by a base station device comprising a processor, transmitting a first resource element mapping pattern to a first subgroup of a group of physical resource blocks;
• and
• facilitating, by the base station device, transmitting a second resource element mapping pattern to a second subgroup of the group of physical resource blocks, wherein the first resource element mapping pattern is different from the second resource element mapping pattern.

A machine-readable storage medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:

• determining whether to override a first type of information transmitted with a second type of information, wherein the first type of information is associated with a first physical resource block of physical resource blocks;
• and
• in response to the determining indicating to override the first type of information, transmitting the second type of information to override the first type of information.
