Abstract
An operation method of a base station in a mobile communication system operating in an unlicensed band is provided. The method includes communicating data with a terminal in a first cell, confining signal transmission occasion to a starting symbol of at least one slot of a subframe of a second cell, occupying resources by sensing a band corresponding to the second cell, and communicating with the terminal on the occupied resources based on the signal transmission occasion.
Claims14
An operation method of a base station in a mobile communication system operating in an unlicensed band, the method comprising:
- communicating with a terminal in a first cell;
- identifying a configuration for a signal transmission occasion, wherein the signal transmission occasion is associated with a starting symbol of a slot in a subframe of a second cell;
- determining resources to occupy, based on a sensing result for a band corresponding to the second cell and a time period allowed for communication with the terminal;
- identifying whether a last subframe containing the resources determined to occupy corresponds to a partial subframe;
- transmitting, to the terminal, information on a length of the partial subframe in a case that the last subframe corresponds to the partial subframe;
- and
- communicating with the terminal on the resources determined to occupy based on the signal transmission occasion.
A base station of a mobile communication system operating in an unlicensed band, the base station comprising:
- a transceiver;
- and
- a controller coupled with the transceiver and configured to control to:
- communicate with a terminal in a first cell,
- identify a configuration for a signal transmission occasion, wherein the signal transmission occasion is associated with a starting symbol of a slot in a subframe,
- determine resources to occupy, based on a sensing result for a band corresponding to a second cell and a time period allowed for communication with the terminal;
- identify whether a last subframe containing the resources determined to occupy corresponds to a partial subframe;
- transmit, to the terminal, information on a length of the partial subframe in a case that the last subframe corresponds to the partial subframe;
- and
- communicate with the terminal on the resources determined to occupy based on the signal transmission occasion.
