Methods, systems, and products for security services

A system, comprising:

• a hardware processor;
• and
• a memory device, the memory device storing instructions, the instructions when executed causing the hardware processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
• receiving a notification specifying a geographical area experiencing an emergency event;
• querying an electronic database to identify devices operating within the geographical area specified by the notification, the electronic database electronically associating network addresses assigned to the devices to locations including the geographical area specified by the notification;
• and
• sending a warning message to the network addresses assigned to the devices operating within the geographical area specified by the notification, the warning message notifying the devices of the emergency event.

A memory device storing instructions that when executed cause a hardware processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:

• receiving a notification specifying a geographical area experiencing an emergency event;
• querying an electronic database to identify devices operating within the geographical area, the electronic database electronically associating network addresses to geographical areas including the geographical area specified by the notification;
• and
• sending a warning message to the network addresses associated with devices identified by the electronic database, the warning message notifying the devices of the geographical area experiencing the emergency event.
