Abstract
An image processing apparatus including an interface that receives an input identifying a subject, and a processor that generates a panoramic image based on captured image data so that the subject is positioned in a reference position in the panoramic image.
Claims37
An image processing method for controlling an image capturing apparatus which captures images while the image capturing apparatus is moving, at least part of the captured images being utilized to generate a panoramic image in an imaging range, the method comprising:
- controlling a simultaneous display of:
- a first guidance for a user to move the image capturing apparatus in a first direction toward a first outer limit of the imaging range based on a user operation of a shutter button, and
- a second guidance informing the user that the image capturing apparatus is not moving in the first direction correctly;
- and
- controlling a display of a third guidance for the user to move the image capturing apparatus in a second direction toward a second outer limit of the imaging range, in response to an arrival of the image capturing apparatus at the first outer limit of the imaging range in which the panoramic image is generated, wherein
- the first direction is opposite to the second direction,
- the first outer limit corresponds to a first end of the panoramic image, and
- the second outer limit corresponds to a second end of the panoramic image.
An image capturing apparatus that captures images while the image capturing apparatus is moving, at least part of the captured images being utilized to generate a panoramic image in an imaging range, the image capturing apparatus comprising:
- circuitry configured to:
- control a simultaneous display of:
- a first guidance for a user to move the image capturing apparatus in a first direction toward a first outer limit of the imaging range based on a user operation of a shutter button, and
- a second guidance informing the user that the image capturing apparatus is not moving in the first direction correctly;
- and
- control a display of a third guidance for the user to move the image capturing apparatus in a second direction toward a second outer limit of the imaging range, in response to an arrival of the image capturing apparatus at the first outer limit of the imaging range in which the panoramic image is generated, wherein
- the first direction is opposite to the second direction,
- the first outer limit corresponds to a first end of the panoramic image, and
- the second outer limit corresponds to a second end of the panoramic image.
A non-transitory computer readable medium having a computer program recorded thereon, the computer program configured to perform a method when executed by an image capturing apparatus, the method controlling the image capturing apparatus which captures images while the image capturing apparatus is moving, at least part of the captured images being utilized to generate a panoramic image in an imaging range, the method comprising:
- controlling a simultaneous display of:
- a first guidance for a user to move the image capturing apparatus in a first direction toward a first outer limit of the imaging range based on a user operation of a shutter button, and
- a second guidance informing the user that the image capturing apparatus is not moving in the first direction correctly;
- and
- controlling a display of a third guidance for the user to move the image capturing apparatus in a second direction toward a second outer limit of the imaging range, in response to an arrival of the image capturing apparatus at the first outer limit of the imaging range in which the panoramic image is generated, wherein
- the first direction is opposite to the second direction,
- the first outer limit corresponds to a first end of the panoramic image, and
- the second outer limit corresponds to a second end of the panoramic image.
An image processing method for controlling an image capturing apparatus which captures images while the image capturing apparatus is moving, at least part of the captured images being utilized to generate a synthesized image in an imaging range, the method comprising:
- controlling a simultaneous display of:
- a first guidance for a user to move the image capturing apparatus in a first direction toward a first outer limit of the imaging range based on a user operation of a shutter button, and
- a second guidance informing the user that the image capturing apparatus is not moving in the first direction correctly;
- and
- controlling a display of a third guidance for the user to move the image capturing apparatus in a second direction toward a second outer limit of the imaging range, in response to an arrival of the image capturing apparatus at the first outer limit of the imaging range in which the synthesized image is generated, wherein
- the first direction is opposite to the second direction,
- the first outer limit corresponds to a first end of the synthesized image, and
- the second outer limit corresponds to a second end of the synthesized image.
An image capturing apparatus that captures images while the image capturing apparatus is moving, at least part of the captured images being utilized to generate a synthesized image in an imaging range, the image capturing apparatus comprising:
- circuitry configured to:
- control a simultaneous display of:
- a first guidance for a user to move the image capturing apparatus in a first direction toward a first outer limit of the imaging range based on a user operation of a shutter button, and
- a second guidance informing the user that the image capturing apparatus is not moving in the first direction correctly;
- and
- control a display of a third guidance for the user to move the image capturing apparatus in a second direction toward a second outer limit of the imaging range, in response to an arrival of the image capturing apparatus at the first outer limit of the imaging range in which the synthesized image is generated, wherein
- the first direction is opposite to the second direction,
- the first outer limit corresponds to a first end of the synthesized image, and
- the second outer limit corresponds to a second end of the synthesized image.
A non-transitory computer readable medium having a computer program recorded thereon, the computer program configured to perform a method when executed by an image capturing apparatus, the method controlling the image capturing apparatus which captures images while the image capturing apparatus is moving, at least part of the captured images being utilized to generate a synthesized image in an imaging range, the method comprising:
- controlling a simultaneous display of:
- a first guidance for a user to move the image capturing apparatus in a first direction toward a first outer limit of the imaging range based on a user operation of a shutter button,
- a second guidance informing the user that the image capturing apparatus is not moving in the first direction correctly;
