Abstract
The described technology can be implemented as a wireless communication method in which timing information in a wireless communication network is mapped to a signal. The timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index and the signal includes at least one of a reference signal on a broadcast channel and a synchronization signal. The signal is transmitted by including at least a part of the information related to the synchronization signal block index.
Claims16
A method for wireless communications, comprising:
- mapping, by a base station, timing information in a wireless communication network to a reference signal on a broadcast channel, wherein the timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index;
- and
- transmitting, by the base station, the reference signal to a terminal device, wherein the reference signal includes at least a part of the information related to the synchronization signal block index, and wherein the synchronization signal index is indicated by a combination of the reference signal and information bits carried by the broadcast channel.
A method for wireless communications, comprising:
- receiving, by a terminal device, a reference signal on a broadcast channel, the reference signal comprising a mapping of timing information in a wireless communication network, wherein the timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index;
- and
- recovering the synchronization signal block index from a combination of the reference signal and information bits carried by the broadcast channel.
An apparatus comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory including processor-executable instructions stored thereon, the processor-executable instructions upon execution by the processor configures the processor to:
- map timing information in a wireless communication network to a reference signal on a broadcast channel, wherein the timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index, and
- transmit the reference signal to a terminal device, wherein the reference signal includes at least a part of the information related to the synchronization signal block index, and wherein the synchronization signal index is indicated by a combination of the reference signal and information bits carried by the broadcast channel.
An apparatus comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory including processor-executable instructions stored thereon, the processor-executable instructions upon execution by the processor configures the processor to:
- receive a reference signal on a broadcast channel, the reference signal comprising a mapping of timing information in a wireless communication network, wherein the timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index, and
- recover the synchronization signal block index from a combination of the reference signal and information bits carried by the broadcast channel.
