Abstract
A scaled precoded data signal can be received. The scaled precoded data signal can be based on a precoder-dependent scaling factor. The scaled precoded data signal can be scaled by using a precoder dependent scaling factor that is dependent on a precoder used to precode the data signal. The scaled precoded data signal can be demodulated.
Claims22
A method comprising:
- receiving a scaled precoded data signal based on a precoder-dependent precoder transmit power equalizing scaling factor, where the scaled precoded data signal is scaled by using the precoder-dependent precoder transmit power equalizing scaling factor that is dependent on a precoder used to precode the data signal and dependent on a matrix that is based on an antenna array and circuits used to drive the antenna array, and where the precoder-dependent precoder transmit power equalizing scaling factor is determined to equalize transmit power between precoders;
- and
- demodulating the scaled precoded data signal.
An apparatus comprising:
- a transceiver that receives a scaled precoded data signal based on a precoder-dependent precoder transmit power equalizing scaling factor, where the scaled precoded data signal is scaled by using the precoder-dependent precoder transmit power equalizing scaling factor that is dependent on a precoder used to precode the data signal and dependent on a matrix that is based on an antenna array and circuits used to drive the antenna array, and where the precoder-dependent precoder transmit power equalizing scaling factor is determined to equalize transmit power between precoders;
- and
- a controller that demodulates the scaled precoded data signal.
