System and method for facilitating access to a database

A system for facilitating access to information in a building having a plurality of rooms, the system comprising:

• a database;
• a server having a central processing unit;
• a wireless network;
• a plurality of video displays, each of the plurality of video displays disposed in the plurality of rooms;
• a plurality of sensing units in communication with the server of the wireless network each having a microphone, the plurality of sensing units disposed in each of the plurality of rooms having at least one of the plurality of video displays, wherein the plurality of sensing units is configured to wirelessly determine a location of the user and actuate an associated video display of the plurality of video displays that is the closest in distance to the user, and wherein the microphone is configured to receive a requested information from the user based on a user's voice recognition that identifies a specific user, the central processing unit processing the requested information so as to retrieve the requested information from the database and automatically display the requested information on the associated video display in a predetermined preference based on the specific user as established by the user's voice recognition.
