Process cartridge and power supply method therefor

A power supply method for a process cartridge, wherein

• the process cartridge is detachably mounted in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus;
• an inner wall of the electrophotographic image forming apparatus is provided with a conductive contact for outputting a DC voltage;
• data information is acquired from a data source by using a data line;
• the process cartridge comprises a voltage generating unit and a developing member rotatably mounted in the process cartridge;
• and
• the voltage generating unit is electrically connected to the conductive contact and the developing member;
• the power supply method for a process cartridge comprises:
• providing a conductor;
• transmitting electric energy on the data line to the voltage generating unit by using the conductor;
• receiving, by the voltage generating unit, the DC voltage from conductive contact as a start-up signal;
• and
• outputting, by the voltage generating unit, an AC bias voltage to the developing member.

A power supply method for a process cartridge, wherein

• the process cartridge is detachably mounted in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus;
• an inner wall of the electrophotographic image forming apparatus is provided with a conductive contact for outputting a DC voltage;
• data information is acquired from a data source by using a data line;
• the process cartridge comprises a voltage generating unit and a developing member rotatably mounted in the process cartridge;
• and
• the voltage generating unit is electrically connected to the conductive contact and the developing member;
• the power supply method for a process cartridge comprises:
• providing a transfer unit and a conductor;
• connecting the transfer unit to the data line and the conductor respectively;
• transmitting electric energy on the data line to the voltage generating unit by using the conductor and the transfer unit;
• receiving, by the voltage generating unit, the DC voltage from conductive contact as a start-up signal;
• and
• outputting, by the voltage generating unit, an AC bias voltage to the developing member.
