Cogged feederhouse front drum

A conveyor assembly for use with a feederhouse of an agricultural harvester, the conveyor comprising:

• an elongated drum configured to rotate around a first longitudinal axis, the elongated drum defining a constant first outer diameter over its length;
• a first plurality of cogs extending radially outwardly from the first outer diameter of the elongated drum;
• a driveshaft configured to rotate about a second longitudinal axis spaced a distance from the first longitudinal axis, the driveshaft defining a substantially constant second outer diameter over its length, and wherein the second outer diameter is less than the first outer diameter;
• a drive wheel disposed on and fixed to the driveshaft for rotation together therewith, wherein the drive wheel includes a second plurality of cogs and a retaining ring extending radially outwardly from the second plurality of cogs, and wherein the drive wheel defines an annular gap between the retaining ring and the drive shaft;
• and
• an endless belt extending around and operatively engaging at least a portion of the first plurality of cogs and at least a portion of the second plurality of cogs.
