Abstract
A method for measurement of contact maintaining control valve current for a hydraulic actuator may comprise sending, by a brake controller, a current signal to an electromechanical valve assembly, receiving, by the brake controller, a pressure feedback signal, increasing, by the brake controller, a value of the current signal, and determining, by the brake controller, a contact current value based upon the pressure feedback signal.
Claims20
A brake system, comprising:
- a brake controller;
- a hydraulic brake actuator including a moveable member;
- a brake stack;
- an electromechanical valve assembly in electronic communication with the brake controller and in fluid communication with the hydraulic brake actuator;
- and
- a tangible, non-transitory memory configured to communicate with the brake controller, the tangible, non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the brake controller, cause the brake controller to perform operations comprising:
- sending, by the brake controller, a current signal to the electromechanical valve assembly;
- receiving, by the brake controller, a pressure feedback signal;
- increasing, by the brake controller, a value of the current signal;
- and
- determining, by the brake controller, a contact current value based upon the pressure feedback signal.
A tangible, non-transitory memory configured to communicate with a brake controller, the tangible, non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the brake controller, cause the brake controller to perform operations comprising:
- sending, by the brake controller, a current signal to an electromechanical valve assembly;
- receiving, by the brake controller, a pressure feedback signal;
- increasing, by the brake controller, a value of the current signal;
- and
- determining, by the brake controller, a contact current value based upon the pressure feedback signal.
