Guide catheter and method of use

A method of dilating tissue of a sinus cavity, comprising:

• introducing a guide catheter into a nasal cavity, wherein the guide catheter is coupled to a distal end of a handle, wherein a side surface of the handle defines a recess that extends along a major longitudinal axis of the handle, wherein a steering device is configured to slide along the recess in a direction parallel to the major longitudinal axis of the handle and further configured to rotate relative to the guide catheter;
• sliding a steering device along the recess in a direction parallel to the major longitudinal axis of the handle to advance a wire guide beyond a distal end of the guide catheter, wherein the wire guide extends through the guide catheter, wherein a balloon catheter comprises an inflatable balloon, wherein the balloon catheter defines a wire guide lumen, wherein the wire guide is configured to extend through the wire guide lumen;
• rotating the steering device relative to the guide catheter to rotate the wire guide relative to the guide catheter;
• translating the balloon catheter over the wire guide and out the distal end of the guide catheter;
• and
• after translating the balloon catheter over the wire guide, inflating the inflatable balloon of the balloon catheter.
