Abstract
The present invention provides antigens, for use in the treatment or prevention of C. burnetii infection. Also provided are nucleic acids encoding such antigens, and antibodies raised against such antigens.

An immunogenic composition comprising one or more isolated protein antigens selected from the group consisting of:
- (1) a CBU_0091 antigen;
- (2) a CBU_1648 antigen;
- (3) a CBU_0532 antigen;
- (4) a CBU_0758 antigen;
- (5) a CBU_1652 antigen;
- and (6) a CBU_2009 antigen;
- and further comprising an immune-effective amount of an adjuvant.
