Claims8
A method of inhibiting cancer proliferation activity and the use thereof for cancer treatment in an individual, the method comprising administering to the individual a prodrug having the structure
- wherein Tos is a p-toluenesulfonyl group,
- wherein said prodrug is converted in vivo to release an active compound that is toxic to cancer cells, said active compound having the structure
- wherein the cancer cells are selected from the group consisting of lung, breast, pancreatic, and leukemia cancer cells.
A method of inhibiting cancer proliferation activity and the use thereof for cancer treatment in an individual, the method comprising administering to the individual a prodrug having the structure
- wherein BOM is a benzyloxymethyl group,
- wherein said prodrug is converted in vivo to release an active compound that is toxic to cancer cells, said active compound having the structure
- wherein the cancer cells are selected from the group consisting of lung, breast, pancreatic, and leukemia cancer cells.
