Abstract
A web material containing one or more active agents and methods for making same are provided.
Claims21
A web material comprising a plurality of inter-entangled filaments associated with one another such that the filaments are present in the web material at a basis weight of at least 79 g/m2 to less than 500 g/m2, wherein the filaments contain one or more hair care active agents present within the filament at a total level of greater than 40% by weight on a dry filament basis, wherein at least one of the hair care active agents comprises a surfactant, and wherein the filaments contain one or more polar solvent-soluble filament-forming materials, and wherein at least one of the filaments exhibits a diameter of greater than 1 μm and less than 100 μm as measured according to the Diameter Test Method and wherein the web material exhibits an average disintegration time of less than 120 s/g as measured according to the Dissolution Test Method.
A web material comprising a plurality of inter-entangled filaments associated with one another such that the filaments are present in the web material at a basis weight of at least 79 g/m2 to less than 500 g/m2, wherein the filaments contain one or more hair care active agents present within the filament at a total level of greater than 40% by weight on a dry filament basis, wherein at least one of the hair care active agents comprises a surfactant, and wherein the filaments contain one or more filament-forming materials, and wherein at least one of the filaments exhibits a diameter of greater than 1 ρm and less than 100 μm as measured according to the Diameter Test Method, wherein the web material exhibits a MD Peak Elongation of greater than 10% as measured according to the Elongation Test Method and wherein the web material exhibits an average disintegration time of less than 120 s/g as measured according to the Dissolution Test Method.
A web material comprising a plurality of inter-entangled filaments associated with one another such that the filaments are present in the web material at a basis weight of at least 79 g/m2 to less than 500 g/m2, wherein the filaments contain one or more hair care active agents present within the filament at a total level of greater than 40% by weight on a dry filament basis, wherein at least one of the hair care active agents comprises a surfactant, and wherein the filaments contain one or more filament-forming materials, and wherein at least one of the filaments exhibits a diameter of greater than 1 μm and less than 100 μm as measured according to the Diameter Test Method, wherein the web material exhibits a GM Modulus of less than 15,000 g/cm2 as measured according to the Modulus Test Method and wherein the web material exhibits an average disintegration time of less than 120 s/g as measured according to the Dissolution Test Method.
