Abstract
The invention relates to a system for analyzing a liquid sample, including an analysis device comprising a casing including a through-opening leading into a housing adapted to receive a portion of a collecting device and extending longitudinally from the opening along an axis of insertion of the collecting device. The analysis system further includes a collecting device comprising a main body extending along a longitudinal axis and including a fluid chamber adapted to be inserted in the housing along the insertion axis and a receiving surface intended to receive the liquid sample extending substantially orthogonally relative to the axis of the main body.
Claims20
An apparatus for analyzing a liquid sample, said apparatus comprising an analyzer and a collection device,
- wherein said analyzer comprises a casing, a housing, and a detection-and-analysis device,
- wherein said casing delimits an interior space,
- wherein said casing comprises an opening that leads into said housing,
- wherein said housing is adapted to receive a portion of said collection device,
- wherein said housing is disposed in said interior space,
- wherein said housing extends from said opening along an insertion axis,
- wherein said detection-and-analysis device is configured to detect and analyze a representative parameter of said liquid sample,
- wherein said collection device comprises a main body, a receiving surface, a chamber, and a collecting orifice,
- wherein said main body extends along a longitudinal axis from said receiving surface to said chamber and is adapted to be longitudinally inserted into said housing along said insertion axis,
- wherein, when said main body has been inserted into said housing, said longitudinal axis is parallel to said insertion axis,
- wherein, when said main body has been inserted into said housing, said receiving surface remains outside said housing to receive said liquid sample,
- wherein said receiving surface extends beyond an area of said main body and at least orthogonally to said longitudinal axis of said main body, and
- wherein said collection orifice provides fluid communication into said chamber along said longitudinal axis.
