- two pellets, at least one pellet of the two pellets having a head portion and a tail portion and a shank between the head portion and the tail portion;
- the head portion including a head, the head having a head diameter larger than a diameter of the tail portion;
- at least one hook attached to the tail portion;
- a tether connecting the two pellets, the tether being coupled to the at least one pellet at a location along the shank dividing the at least one pellet into the head portion and the tail portion;
- each of the head portion and the tail portion having a mass;
- wherein a mass of the tail portion is greater than a mass of the head portion.
An entangling projectile for use with a projectile deployment system, the entangling projectile comprising:
- two pellets, at least one pellet of the two pellets having a head portion and a tail portion and a shank between the head portion and the tail portion;
- the head portion including a head, the head having a head diameter larger than a diameter of the tail portion;
- a tether connecting the pellets, the tether being coupled to the at least one pellet at a location along the shank dividing the at least one pellet into the head portion and the tail portion;
