Abstract
An additive pack which comprises a water-soluble capsule containing a water-dispersible polymer powder (dispersion powder) is used to prepare aqueous construction materials such as cements and mortars on site, while offering set properties equivalent or superior to ready to mix dry mix formulations.

An additive pack which comprises a water-soluble capsule and a water-dispersible polymer powder contained therein wherein, the water-soluble capsule comprises a partially hydrolyzed vinyl acetate homopolymers or partially hydrolyzed vinyl acetate copolymer, each with a degree of hydrolysis of from 70 to 95 mol %, and a Höppler viscosity of from 1 to 50 mPas, or a mixture thereof.
