Abstract
A container transporter systems, vehicle, and methods are disclosed. The container transporter can be automatically or manually controlled allowing for ease of use in moving a coupled container. The container transporter can be used with virtually any container, such as a refuse container. The automatic movement of the container transporter can assist users with time constrains or physical constraints in moving their refuse for pickup.
Claims18
A container transporter system comprising:
- a container transporter for transporting a container comprising:
- a motor system comprising at least one wheel;
- a steering system;
- an intelligence system;
- a platform suited to the container comprising:
- a grip arm comprising:
- a first actuator to affect the height of the grip arm;
- a second actuator to affect the pitch of the grip arm;
- a sensor selected from the group consisting of a weight resistance sensor and a radio frequency identification (RFID) sensor;
- and
- a grip to capture the container;
- and
- a dolly lip attaching to the platform by at least one actuator, wherein the at least one actuator can extend, tilt, and lift the dolly lip;
- and
- a communicator for interacting with a paired communicator and the intelligence system;
- and
- a docking station to receive the container transporter and to provide an electric charge to the container transporter, wherein the docking station comprises a solar power system to transfer energy from the docking station to the container transporter.
