Abstract
A composite article comprises a base layer and an adhesive layer disposed thereon. The base layer comprises the reaction product of a polyamide and an anhydride-functional copolymer, and an ionomer. The adhesive layer comprises a cationic polymer and an adhesive.
Claims19
A composite article comprising a base layer, an adhesive layer disposed thereon, and a natural rubber latex layer, said composite article comprising:
- A) said base layer comprising:
- i. a reaction product of:
- a. a polyamide;
- and
- b. an anhydride-functional copolymer;
- and
- ii. an ionomer;
- and
- B) said adhesive layer comprising a cationic polymer and an adhesive;
- and
- C) said natural rubber latex layer disposed on said adhesive layer,
- wherein said adhesive layer and said natural rubber latex layer are present in said composite article in a thickness ratio of from about 4:1 to about 20:1.
