Abstract
Embodiments systems and methods for touch input correction for a multi-form factor Information Handling System (IHS) are described. In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, an IHS may include a processor; and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by the processor, cause the IHS to: identify a posture of a first display relative to a second display; and process a stylus input using at least one parallax value calculated, at least in part, based upon the posture.
Claims19
An Information Handling System (IHS), comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by the processor, cause the IHS to:
- identify a posture of a first display relative to a second display;
- process a stylus input using at least one parallax value calculated, at least in part, based upon the posture;
- identify a position of a keyboard;
- and
- in response to the position of the keyboard, modify the at least one parallax value.
A method, comprising:
- determining a bend radius of a display;
- processing a touch input received via the display using at least one parallax value calculated, at least in part, based upon the bend radius;
- identifying a position of a keyboard;
- and
- in response to the position of the keyboard, modifying the at least one parallax value.
A hardware memory device having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by a processor of an Information Handling System (IHS), cause the IHS to:
- determine an orientation of a first display coupled to a second display via a hinge;
- process a touch input using at least one parallax value calculated, at least in part, based upon the orientation;
- identify a position of a keyboard;
- and
- in response to the position of the keyboard, modify the at least one parallax value.
