Abstract
In circuitry for measuring a voltage at a node, a capacitive divider is coupled to the node, wherein the capacitive divider provides a first output. A resistive divider is coupled to the node, wherein the resistive divider provides a second output.
Claims20
Circuitry, comprising:
- a terminal;
- a capacitor divider coupled to the terminal, the capacitor divider having a first output, in which voltages at the first output are indicative of first voltages at the terminal;
- a resistive divider coupled to the terminal, the resistive divider having a second output, in which voltages at the second output are indicative of second voltages at the terminal, the second voltages being different from the first voltages;
- first switching circuitry coupled to the capacitor divider, the first switching circuitry configured to:
- activate the capacitive divider responsive to the first voltages at the terminal;
- and disable the capacitor divider responsive to absence of the first voltages at the terminal;
- and
- second switching circuitry coupled to the resistive divider, the second switching circuitry configured to:
- activate the resistive divider responsive to the second voltages at the terminal;
- and disable the resistive divider responsive to absence of the second voltages at the terminal.

A method, comprising:
- coupling a capacitive divider to a terminal during a first period responsive to a first voltage at the terminal;
- decoupling the capacitive divider from the terminal responsive to absence of the first voltage at the terminal;
- on a first output, from the capacitive divider, outputting a first signal indicative of the first voltage at the terminal;
- coupling a resistive divider to the terminal during a second period responsive to a second voltage at the terminal, the first voltage being greater than the second voltage;
- decoupling the resistive divider from the terminal responsive to absence of the second voltage at the terminal;
- on a second output, from the resistive divider, outputting a second signal indicative of the second voltage at the terminal.

Circuitry, comprising:
- a terminal adapted to be coupled to a source or a drain of a transistor;
- a capacitor divider coupled to the terminal, the capacitor divider having a first output, in which voltages at the first output are indicative of voltage changes on the terminal, the capacitive divider having:
- a first capacitor coupled between the terminal and the first output;
- and at least one second capacitor selectively coupled to the first output;
- selection circuitry configured to selectively couple the at least one second capacitor to the first output responsive to the voltages at the first output;
- a resistive divider coupled to the terminal, the resistive divider having a second output, in which voltages at the second output are indicative of DC voltages on the terminal;
- first switching circuitry coupled to the capacitor divider, the first switching circuitry configured to:
- activate the capacitive divider during a first period responsive to first voltages at the terminal;
- and disable the capacitive divider responsive to absence of the first voltages at the terminal;
- and
- second switching circuitry coupled to the resistive divider, the second switching circuitry configured to:
- activate the resistive divider during a second period responsive to second voltages at the terminal, the second voltages being different from the first voltages, and the second period being different from the first period;
- and disable the resistive divider responsive to absence of the second voltages at the terminal.
