Claims13
A polypeptide, wherein the polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence having the SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:3, SEQ ID NO:6, SEQ ID NO:8, SEQ ID NO:13, SEQ ID NO:14, SEQ ID NO:15, SEQ ID NO:16, SEQ ID NO:20, or SEQ ID NO:21, and the polypeptide is conjugated to an antimicrobial peptide having the amino acid sequence SQSRESQC (SEQ ID NO:44) to yield a conjugated polypeptide and the conjugated polypeptide has antibacterial activity.
A polypeptide, wherein the polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence having the SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:21, or a fragment of the polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:43 (P307) and the polypeptide or polypeptide fragment is conjugated to an antimicrobial peptide having the amino acid sequence SQSRESQC (SEQ ID NO:44) to yield a conjugated polypeptide and the conjugated polypeptide has antibacterial activity.
