Abstract
A writing instrument having a body and a writing tip that is mounted on the body. The body and the writing tip extend along an axial direction, and the writing tip presents a distal end portion having a cross-section that is U-shaped.
Claims9
A writing instrument comprising a body and a writing tip that is mounted on the body, the body and the writing tip extending along an axial direction, the writing tip presenting a distal end portion having a cross-section perpendicular to the axial direction having a U-shape, wherein the distal end portion has a portion with an outer face forming a bottom horizontal bar of the U-shape that slopes relative to the axial direction.
A writing instrument comprising a body and a writing tip that is mounted on the body, the body and the writing tip extending along an axial direction, the writing tip presenting a distal end portion having a cross-section perpendicular to the axial direction having a U-shape, wherein the distal end portion includes a distal writing end, and an outer periphery of the U-shape of the distal writing end forming a plurality of writing edges, and wherein the distal end portion includes a distal end face that extends substantially transversally to the axial direction, while each writing edge is formed by a rounded chamfer that is formed on a portion of a periphery of the distal end face.
A writing instrument comprising a body and a writing tip that is mounted on the body, the body and the writing tip extending along an axial direction, the writing tip presenting a distal end portion having a cross-section perpendicular to the axial direction having a U-shape, wherein the writing tip presents a distal writing end, and an inside face of a portion of the distal end portion forming a bottom horizontal bar of the U-shape that curves along the axial direction in the vicinity of the distal writing end, and follows a profile of a conical type having a radius that varies along the axial direction.
