Abstract
A robot includes a base, an arm provided on the base, an actuator that drives the arm, a connector to which at least a part of a first wire of another apparatus is connected, and a second wire that connects the actuator and the connector, and the base has a housing having an hole, to which the connector is fixed and a lid covering at least a part of the hole, through which the first wire is inserted.

A robot comprising:
- a base;
- an arm provided on the base;
- an actuator that drives the arm;
- a connector to which at least a part of a first wire of another apparatus is connected;
- and
- a second wire that connects the actuator and the connector,
- wherein the base has
- a housing having an hole, to which the connector is fixed, and
- a lid covering at least a part of the hole, through which the first wire is inserted.
