Abstract
In one aspect, methods of treating non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) or preventing or delaying the progression of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) to NASH are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises administering a therapeutically effective amount of ubenimex.

A method of treating non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), the method comprising administering to a subject in need of treatment a therapeutically effective amount of ubenimex.
A method of delaying or preventing the progression of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) to NASH in a subject having NAFLD, the method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of ubenimex.
A method of decreasing inflammation and/or fibrosis in a subject having NASH, the method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of ubenimex for at least 24 weeks.
