Abstract
Fire pit systems including a base pan member having a base pan member lower wall with a pan outer periphery, and one or more side walls extending upward from the base pan member lower wall and along the pan outer periphery; at least two rod members extending upward along opposite sides of the pan outer periphery; and one or more additional accessories that are attachable to and detachable from at least one of the at least two rod members, the one or more additional accessories comprising a griddle, a grill, a coffee pot, a Dutch oven, a tubular spacer, a pot holder, a horizontal bar extending between two rod members of the at least two rod members, a warming tray, or any combination thereof. Methods of making and using the fire pit systems.
Claims22
A fire pit system comprising:
- (I) a base pan member comprising:
- a base pan member lower wall having a pan outer periphery, and
- one or more side walls extending upward from said base pan member lower wall and along said pan outer periphery;
- (II) at least two rod members extending upward along opposite sides of said pan outer periphery;
- (III) one or more additional accessories that are attachable to and detachable from at least one of said at least two rod members, said one or more additional accessories comprising a griddle, a grill, a coffee pot, a Dutch oven, a tubular spacer, a pot holder, a warming tray, or any combination thereof;
- and
- (IV) two or more ring members, each ring member comprising:
- a ring base having a ring outer periphery,
- at least two ring connectors along opposite sides of said ring outer periphery, and
- at least two ring tubular members extending substantially perpendicular to said ring base, said at least two ring tubular members being attached to said ring base via said at least two ring connectors;
- wherein each ring tubular member has a tubular diameter dtm that enables each of said two or more ring members to be (i) positioned and stacked along said at least two rod members so that said ring outer periphery is positioned above and within said pan outer periphery, and (ii) movable along said at least two rod members while being positioned on said at least two rod members.
A fire pit system consisting of:
- (I) a base pan member consisting of:
- a base pan member lower wall having a pan outer periphery,
- from one to eight side walls extending upward from said base pan member lower wall and along said pan outer periphery,
- two base pan tubular members positioned along opposite sides of said pan outer periphery, each of said two base pan tubular members having a base pan tubular member diameter dbptm that enables an end portion of a rod member to be positioned therein;
- a base pan tubular member stop member for each base pan tubular member, each base pan tubular member stop member being designed to provide a stop for an end portion of a given rod member positioned within the base pan tubular member;
- three or four leg connectors positioned along a lower surface of said base pan member lower wall proximate said pan outer periphery, each of said three or four leg connectors being sized to connect to a pan leg;
- and
- three or four pan legs extending downward from said base pan member lower wall proximate said pan outer periphery, each of said three or four pan legs being attachable and detachable from said base pan member via said three or four leg connectors;
- (II) two rod members extending upward along opposite sides of said pan outer periphery, an end portion of each rod member being positioned within said two base pan tubular members;
- and
- (III) accessories that are attachable to and detachable from one of said two rod members, said accessories consisting of a griddle, a grill, or both a griddle and grill.
A fire pit system consisting of:
- (I) a base pan member consisting of:
- a base pan member lower wall having a pan outer periphery,
- one to eight side walls extending upward from said base pan member lower wall and along said pan outer periphery,
- two base pan tubular members positioned along sides of said pan outer periphery, each of said two base pan tubular members having a base pan tubular member diameter dbptm that enables an end portion of a rod member to be positioned therein;
- a base pan tubular member stop member within each base pan tubular member, each base pan tubular member stop member being designed to provide a stop for an end portion of a given rod member positioned within the base pan tubular member;
- four leg connectors positioned along a lower surface of said base pan member lower wall proximate said pan outer periphery, each of said four leg connectors being sized to connect to a pan leg;
- four pan legs extending downward from said base pan member lower wall proximate said pan outer periphery, each of said four pan legs being attachable and detachable from said base pan member via said four leg connectors;
- (II) two rod members extending upward along opposite sides of said pan outer periphery, an end portion of each rod member being positioned within said two base pan tubular members;
- and
- (III) one or more additional accessories that are attachable to and detachable from at least one of said two rod members, said one or more additional accessories consisting of a griddle, a grill, a coffee pot, a Dutch oven, a tubular spacer, a pot holder, a warming tray, or any combination thereof.
