Claims21
An article that yields an inhalable substance, the article comprising:
- a control housing including:
- an electrical energy source;
- a receiving chamber;
- a projection within the receiving chamber, the projection having a length;
- and
- an electrical heating member positioned on the projection along at least a portion of the length of the projection;
- and
- a cartridge body having a mouth end and an engaging end, the cartridge body including:
- a paper tube;
- an interior cartridge space;
- and
- an inhalable substance medium comprising tobacco present within the interior cartridge space;
- wherein the engaging end of the cartridge body is configured for insertion into the receiving chamber of the control housing such that the projection of the control housing at least partially engages the cartridge body causing the electrical heating member to be in a heating arrangement with the inhalable substance medium of the cartridge.
A method of forming an aerosol, the method comprising:
- providing a control housing including:
- an electrical energy source;
- a receiving chamber;
- a projection within the receiving chamber, the projection having a length;
- and
- an electrical heating member positioned on the projection along at least a portion of the length of the projection;
- providing a cartridge body having a mouth end and an engaging end, the cartridge body including:
- a paper tube;
- an interior cartridge space;
- and
- an inhalable substance medium comprising tobacco present within the interior cartridge space;
- and
- inserting the engaging end of the cartridge body into the receiving chamber of the control housing such that the projection of the control housing at least partially engages the cartridge body causing the electrical heating member to be in a heating arrangement with the inhalable substance medium of the cartridge.
