Abstract
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A base station may receive resource status information. The base station may use the resource status information for serving one or more network slices for a wireless device.
Claims26
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a first base station and from a second base station, a first message comprising:
- a cell identifier of a first cell of the second base station;
- a first network slice identifier of a first network slice associated with the first cell;
- and
- a first resource status information element indicating a radio resource status of the first network slice;
- determining, by the first base station and based on the first resource status information element, a handover decision for a wireless device;
- and
- sending, by the first base station, to the second base station, and based on the handover decision for the wireless device, a second message indicating a handover request for the wireless device.

A first base station comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the first base station to:
- receive, from a second base station, a first message comprising:
- a cell identifier of a first cell of the second base station;
- a first network slice identifier of a first network slice associated with the first cell;
- and
- a first resource status information element indicating a radio resource status of the first network slice;
- determine, based on the first resource status information element, a handover decision for a wireless device;
- and
- send, to the second base station and based on the handover decision for the wireless device, a second message indicating a handover request for the wireless device.

A method comprising:
- sending, by a first base station and to a second base station, a first message comprising:
- a cell identifier of a first cell of the first base station;
- a first network slice identifier of a first network slice associated with the first cell;
- and
- a first resource status information element indicating a radio resource status of the first network slice;
- receiving, by the first base station, from the second base station, and based on the first message, a second message indicating a handover request for a wireless device;
- determining, by the first base station and based on one or more resources associated with the first network slice, to perform a handover for the wireless device;
- and
- sending, by the first base station and to the second base station, a response message indicating acceptance of the handover request for the wireless device.

A first base station comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the first base station to:
- send, to a second base station, a first message comprising:
- a cell identifier of a first cell of the first base station;
- a first network slice identifier of a first network slice associated with the first cell;
- and
- a first resource status information element indicating a radio resource status of the first network slice;
- receive, from the second base station, and based on the first message, a second message indicating a handover request for a wireless device;
- determine, based on one or more resources associated with the first network slice, to perform a handover for the wireless device;
- and
- send, to the second base station, a response message indicating acceptance of the handover request for the wireless device.
