Abstract
A wireless device and a base station may communicate via a plurality of cells comprising a primary cell having a primary control channel and a secondary cell having a secondary control channel, and scheduling request resources may be managed.
Claims44
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a wireless device and from a base station, at least one message comprising configuration parameters of a plurality of cells comprising:
- a primary cell comprising a primary control channel transmitted to the base station;
- and
- a secondary cell comprising a secondary control channel transmitted to the base station;
- based on a media access control (MAC) entity, of the wireless device, having more than one overlapping valid control channel resource for a scheduling request, selecting, by the MAC entity, one of the primary control channel or the secondary control channel as a selected valid control channel resource for transmission of the scheduling request to the base station;
- instructing, by the MAC entity, a physical layer to transmit the scheduling request via the selected valid control channel resource;
- and
- transmitting, by the physical layer and to the base station via the selected valid control channel resource, the scheduling request.

- one or more processors;

- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- receive, from a base station, at least one message comprising configuration parameters of a plurality of cells comprising:

- a secondary cell comprising a secondary control channel transmitted to the base station;
- based on a media access control (MAC) entity, of the wireless device, having more than one overlapping valid control channel resource for a scheduling request, select, by the MAC entity, one of the primary control channel or the secondary control channel as a selected valid control channel resource for transmission of the scheduling request to the base station;
- instruct, by the MAC entity, a physical layer to transmit the scheduling request via the selected valid control channel resource;
- and
- transmit, by the physical layer and to the base station via the selected valid control channel resource, the scheduling request.

- instructing, by the MAC entity, a physical layer to transmit the scheduling request via the selected valid control channel resource;
- and
- transmitting, by the physical layer and to the base station via the selected valid control channel resource, the scheduling request.

- instruct, by the MAC entity, a physical layer to transmit the scheduling request via the selected valid control channel resource;
- and
- transmit, by the physical layer and to the base station via the selected valid control channel resource, the scheduling request;
- and
- wherein the base station is configured to receive the scheduling request.
