Social network account assisted service registration

A method comprising:

• receiving, via a graphical user interface of a controller, (i) data indicating login credentials for a given account of a social networking service associated with one or more streaming media services, and (ii) input data to configure one or more streaming media services with a media playback system;
• receiving, by the controller, from one or more streaming media services, data indicating a first streaming media service associated with the given account;
• configuring, by the controller, at least one of a first playback device and a second playback device to play back audio content from the first streaming media service that is associated with the given account;
• and
• playing back, by the at least one of the first playback device and the second playback device, first audio content from the first streaming media service.

Tangible, non-transitory computer-readable media having stored therein instructions executable by one or more processors, wherein the instructions, when executed, cause a media playback system to perform functions comprising:

• receiving, via a graphical user interface of a controller, (i) data indicating login credentials for a given account of a social networking service associated with one or more streaming media services, and (ii) input data to configure one or more streaming media services with the media playback system;
• receiving, by the controller, from one or more streaming media services, data indicating a first streaming media service associated with the given account;
• configuring, by the controller, at least one of a first playback device and a second playback device to play back audio content from the first streaming media service that is associated with the given account;
• and
• playing back, by the at least one of the first playback device and the second playback device, first audio content from the first streaming media service.
