Abstract
A wireless communication receiver including a serial to parallel converter receiving an radio frequency signal, a fast Fourier transform device connected to said serial to parallel converter converting NFFT corresponding serial signals into a frequency domain; an EZC root sequence unit generating a set of root sequence signals; an element-by-element multiply unit forming a set of products including a product of each of said frequency domain signals from said fast Fourier transform device and a corresponding root sequence signal, an NSRS-length IDFT unit performing a group cyclic-shift de-multiplexing of the products and a discrete Fourier transform unit converting connected cyclic shift de-multiplexing signals back to frequency-domain.
Claims18
A wireless communication receiver comprising:
- a serial-to-parallel converter configured to receive a time sample sequence and generate parallel signals;
- a fast Fourier transform (FFT) unit connected to the serial-to-parallel converter and configured to convert the parallel signals to frequency domain signals;
- an Extended Zadoff-Chu (EZC) root sequence unit connected to the FFT unit and configured to generate a set of root sequence signals;
- and
- a multiply unit connected to the FFT unit and the EZC root sequence unit, the multiply unit configure to form a set of products including a product of each of the frequency domain signals from the FFT unit and a complex conjugate of one of the corresponding root sequence signals.
A wireless communication receiver, comprising:
- a first means for converting a time sample sequence to frequency domain signals;
- a second means for generating a set of root sequence signals by applying an Extended Zadoff-Chu operation to the frequency domain signals;
- and
- a third means for multiplying each of the frequency domain signals with a complex conjugate of one of the corresponding root sequence signals to generate a set of products.
