Abstract
A motor-driven integrated circuit comprises a PWM output unit and an overcurrent comparator coupled with the PWM output unit. The overcurrent comparator receives a detection signal and compares the detection signal with a reference value. When the detection signal is larger than the reference value, the overcurrent comparator outputs an overcurrent protection signal to control the PWM output unit enter an overcurrent protection mode.
Claims15
A motor driving integrated circuit, comprising:
- a PWM output unit;
- an overcurrent comparator receiving a detection signal and comparing the detection signal with a reference value, wherein when the detection signal is larger than the reference value, the overcurrent comparator outputs an overcurrent protection detection signal to the PWM output unit, and the PWM output unit is entered to an overcurrent protection mode under control of the overcurrent protection signal;
- and
- a first filter coupled between the PWM output unit and the overcurrent comparator, wherein the first filter is configured to sample the overcurrent protection signal in a predetermined manner, and the predetermined manner is that the first filter samples the overcurrent protection signal for a predetermined number of times in a predetermined cycle;
- and
- a central processing unit coupled with the PWM output unit and the overcurrent comparator, a multiple-time programmable memory storing motor configuration data and a motor driving program;
- and a memory electrically coupled with the central processing unit and having a capacity larger than or equal to a capacity of the multiple-time programmable memory, wherein when the motor driving integrated circuit is powered or reset, the motor driving program is copied from the multiple-time programmable memory to the memory by the central processing unit.
