Abstract
Retroreflective sheeting comprising cube corner microstructure and having channels substantially parallel to a longitudinal, peripheral edge of the sheeting.
Claims18
A method of making retroreflective sheeting comprising:
- providing a tool comprising a microstructured surface with a plurality of channels and preferred geometry full cube corner elements;
- advancing the tool in a direction;
- filling a moldable resin onto the tool, wherein an angle formed by each of the channels relative to the direction of filling the moldable resin of the channels does not vary from 0 degrees by more than 20 degrees;
- solidifying the resin forming a retroreflective sheet having a surface comprising cube corner elements;
- and
- removing the sheet from the tool.
