A fluorinated ether compound represented by formula (1):

• A1-O—(Rf1O)m1-Q1-[C(O)N(R1)]p1—R11—C[—R12—SiR13n1X13-n1]3 (1)
• wherein
• A1 is a C1-20 perfluoroalkyl group,
• Rf1 is a fluoroalkylene group having no branched structure,
• m1 is an integer of from 2 to 210,
• (Rf1O)m1 is optionally one composed of at least two types of Rf1O,
• Q1 is a single bond or a fluoroalkylene group having no branched structure,
• R1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group,
• p1 is 0 or 1,
• R11 is a single bond, an alkylene group, an alkylene group having an etheric oxygen atom at a terminal thereof, which is the terminal on the side bonded to C[—R12—SiR13n1X13-n1]3, an alkylene group with at least two carbon atoms, having an etheric oxygen atom between two carbon atoms, or an alkylene group with at least two carbon atoms, having an etheric oxygen atom between two carbon atoms and at a terminal thereof which is the terminal on the side bonded to C[—R12—SiR13n1X13-n1]3,
• R12 is an alkylene group,
• R13 is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group,
• X1 is a hydrolyzable group,
• n1 is an integer of from 0 to 2, and
• three [—R12—SiR13n1X13-n1] are optionally not all the same group.
